The new Tisza bridge at Vásárosnamény was built directly next to the old bridge, which was later demolished. The crossing of vehicles heavier than 20 tons is made possible. The cross-section is a box section with inclined webs and an orthotropic deck.
The bridge, which was assembled at the assembly area, was launched into its final position with the help of a steel truss erection nose tied to an auxiliary mast. The masts were used for the demolition of the existing arch bridge as well. They were erected above the supports to replace the arch.
