Along the 27-km-long section of the M4 Motorway from Abony to Törökszentmiklós, passing Szolnok, there are 27 new bridges. Besides the bridge over the River Tisza, the most significant ones are the orthotropic-beam bridge over the River Zagyva (2x84m), the composite Tisza flood-zone bridge (40+7×48+40m) and Millér Canal bridge (35+45+35m). Each of the bridges were built with separate superstructures for the left and right carriageways. The Zagyva bridge consist of one-cell box girder, while the composite cross sections consist of two steel box girders and a RC deck plate each.
