SOROKSÁR DANUBE BRIDGE

The right carriageway bridge of the Sorosksár Danube-branch crossing of the M0 Motorway was built next to the existing left carriageway bridge. The river bridge is a three-span continuous prestressed concrete beam. The main girder consists of two separate cells, which are haunched at the supports. The bridge was built with the free cantilever method. There is a 12-span approach bridge on the right side, and a two-span bridge on the left side adjoining to the 150-m-long river bridge. With the precast multi-span approach bridges the crossing is 1500 m long.
