The Berkó bridge carries the M44 motorway over the Körös river. The superstructure of the river bridge is a single-span, arch bridge suspended with steel hangers. The stiffening girder has a constant-height, three-cell steel box cross-section with orthotropic steel deck plate.
Our company prepared the detailed plan of the superstructure of the river bridge, along with the planning of the construction technology. The assembled arch bridge was moved into place through pulling from the assembly area on the flood protection embankment on the right bank, using auxiliary supports and front and rear assembly noses.
