The bridge is connecting Ipolydamásd in Hungary and Helemba in Slovenia crossing the Ipoly River.
The superstructure and the substructures are restrained at the corners and thus form a frame. It is a steel-concrete composite structure with two box girders, curved variable beam height and reinforced concrete deck.
After the completion of the abutments, the four halves of the main girders were raised to their final position and welded together on the auxiliary support in the middle. In the first stage of concreting the superstructure, the fixed connection of the corners had to be made. After the concrete in the corners hardened, the deck could be concreted as well.
