For several hundred years there was an arched stone bridge over the Ipoly river at Ráróspuszta. From 1900 the bridge was replaced with a steel trussed bridge, which was destroyed during World War II, together with almost all of the Ipoly bridges. One of the first reconstructed bridges is the Ráróspuszta bridge, which is similar to the original bridge in appearence, but up to date materials and technologies are used. In order to increase the clear span a 40 cm thick R.C. arch is built with stone lining. The bridge is straight in plan, the vertical profile is curved in R=1250 m. The bridge will be opened to traffic in 2011.
