The new „Taksony Vezér” bridge at Dunavarsány was built in 1998. The bridge is a simply supported Warren truss type, without upper wind bracing. The composite action between the steel cross girders and the R.C. deck is provided by steel studs. The horizontal alignment of the bridge is straight, the roadway profile has a vertical curve of R=4000 m with its highest point at midspan.
